The Sky Is Not The Limit

If we can only go as far as we can see, success may seem out of view. Media often portrays Black Americans as uneducated and uninformed, but there are many untold stories of unsung black heros who have opened doors, kicked them down, or paved the way to help make the world a better place. 

Consider, for example, physicist, space scientist, and mathematician, Katherine Johnson, played by Taraji P. Henson in the new film Hidden Figures (in theatres January 6th). She not only contributed to NASA as we know it today, she was a trailblazer for more black heros that work there right now. We recently spoke to some of those heros – engineers, rocket scientists, designers, etc. – and The VAdio Show team had clearance for an exclusive tour of NASA’s Goddard Space Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.
